Patient Guide

Patient Care:

Patients are attended at the Centre, preferably by prior appointment. Appointment may be made at the office personally or on telephone during the office hours.

For outstation patients, self addressed post cards may be sent to the office for appointment.A limited number of patients may be seen daily without previous appointment for which a patient will have to register at 9 a.m.

Registration of new cases will be stopped when the number is beyond the capacity of attending doctors. In that case, appointment date and time will be given from the Reception Counter.

Experts examine all cases here thoroughly with meticulous care.As a detailed examination of the eyes takes considerable time, the patient must be ready to wait at the Centre for long, sometimes may be for 4 to 5 hours.

The patient and their relations may take tea /snacks / meal from the cafetaria of the Centre during their stay here.

No patient should insist for examination by the doctor of his / her choice. The Centre which is proud of skill and proficiency of all its attending medical and para-medical staff, is keen to develop team spirit in patient care rather than patronising individuals.

The management takes full responsibility of proper care and treatment of all cases coming to the Centre irrespective of caste, creed, religion, sex, social and economic status.

In case, the patient is not happy with the treatment or feels that he is not being properly looked after, he may bring it to the notice of the concerned person.

Working Hours:

The office and clinics of the Centre are open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. except Sundays and holidays. No casualty / emergency services are available at present.

Spectacles Shop:

There is a spectacles shop at the Centre where good quality lenses are available at moderate prices. The shop only serves the prescriptions of the Centre.

Canteen:

There is a fast food canteen in the premises where food is available at moderate cost for patients and compaign persons during working hours.
